A Discord Matchmaking Bot That Balances Teams For You
Skill-based queues, auto-balanced teams, and automatic voice channels — so organizing a match takes one button, not a spreadsheet.
Organizing balanced matches in a gaming community usually means a mod manually sorting people into teams. Mayor's Bot's matchmaking module handles queuing, skill-based team balancing using your own rank/role mappings, and even creates the voice channels automatically.
What It Does
Match types — Versus (two balanced teams with auto-created voice channels), Free-for-all, and Event queues.
Skill-based balancing — define your own rank/role mappings so teams come out fair, not random.
Auto voice channels — voice channels for each team are created automatically when a match starts.
Persistent join panel — a button panel members use to queue up, no command memorization needed.
Match result logging — log outcomes with
/match result
for history and stats.
Commands
-
/mm setupconfigure a matchmaking queue -
/match resultlog the outcome of a completed match
Quick Setup
- Run
/mm setup
to create a queue and define rank/role skill mappings.
- Post the join panel so members can queue up with a button.
- Start a match when enough players are queued — teams and voice channels are created automatically.
